Special Issue
Special Issue Proposals
The Journal of Smart Algorithms and Applications (JSAA) welcomes proposals for Special Issues that address emerging, interdisciplinary, or high-impact research topics within the journal's scope.
Special Issues provide an opportunity to bring together high-quality research on timely scientific themes and are typically coordinated by invited or approved Guest Editors in collaboration with the journal's Editorial Board.
Researchers, academic institutions, professional societies, and research organizations are invited to submit proposals for Special Issues that demonstrate scientific significance, originality, and broad interest to the research community.
Proposal Submission
Applicants should complete the Special Issue Proposal Form and submit it, together with any supporting documents, to:
editorial.jsaa@scientificirg.com
A complete proposal should include, where applicable:
- Proposed Special Issue title
- Scope and objectives
- Scientific rationale and significance
- Proposed Guest Editor(s) and affiliations
- Tentative list of potential contributors
- Expected timeline
- Estimated number of submissions
- Any additional supporting information
Incomplete proposals may be returned for revision before editorial evaluation.
Evaluation Process
All Special Issue proposals are evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board based on:
- Relevance to the journal's aims and scope
- Scientific originality and significance
- Quality and expertise of the proposed Guest Editor(s)
- Expected impact on the research community
- Feasibility of the proposed publication schedule
The Editorial Office will acknowledge receipt of the proposal and communicate the outcome of the evaluation as soon as reasonably possible following the editorial assessment.
